Since May of last year, Airship Ventures - pioneers in American flight, as the first zeppelin enterprise in the US - has been giving scenic flights over the SF Bay Area for passengers paying $500 an hour. The zeppelin seats 12, measures 75 metres long and can fly at an altitude of up to 2800 m. The Zeppelin NT is based at the Mountain View Moffet Air Field and is the largest of the manufacturer’s (Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik) fleet.
