The design inspiration of this apartment in Stockholm, believe it or not, is the four seasons. Tham & Videgard Hansson Arkitekts of Sweden tweaked an apartment of an art nouveau building. It’s surrounded by parks and trees which perpetually contributes to the different moods of each of the room of the flat as the seasons change. The colouring is all in the transitional hues of the parquet flooring stretching beyond the floor to wall panels, shelving and doorways. It’s genius.

The luxurious Marco Polo Tower is scheduled to be completed this September. True to current contemporary architectural trends, Hochtief and DC Residential manage the development project, which will result in an exclusive 17 storey tower consisting of 58 executive apartments. This is one of the new lifestyle condos with all the urban trimmings that are being developed on Hamburg’s harbourfront.
