The French fashion house Lanvin has some nice sneakers coming out this season. These look like board shoes. These graphite shoes’ detailing are in leather, satin and velvet with a flat ribbon lace-up closure.

Yohji Yamamoto’s shoe designs for Salvatore Ferragamo will be released this August. There are seven pairs that were introduced to the public last week during Paris’ fashion week. The shoes are planned to retail for $500-$1000.

Zegna Couture’s shoes and belts for SS09 are exquisite. They’re all hand finished using the finest calfskin and alligator leathers with micro perforated detailing, some even have Goodyear High Performance construction. The collection styling varies from brogues to moccasins to lace-ups, colour palettes of several soft browns, oxblood to black. My fav’s the one above - the three tone brogued dandy.
