Lagerfeld was quoted commenting the instrument: “Coco Chanel had an affair with Stravinsky, mine was with a guitar.” It was launched in the SS09 fashion show with models strutting rock inspired garb. No word on who produced the instrument for Chanel. The instrument and case’s ticket price is £2800.

Dunhill’s offering electronics in it’s SS/09 accessories collection. Manufactured by Meridian, the Alfred Dunhill AD88 is a music system that plays CDs, MP3s DVDs, has a tuner, alarm clock function, connects to your PC, and also doubles as an iPod docking station. It comes also with a magnetic remote. The ticket price is £2000. Also in the pic are the Union jack blue lamb nappa handstitched driving gloves.

lv sprouse 72 Louis Vuitton | Stephen Sprouse collection

The SS09 Louis Vuitton collection will be decaled with Stephen Sprouse graphics. Marc Jacobs and Sprouse  worked together in 2001. Marc at the time had created some memorable pieces embellished with graffiti and rose imagery. It’s apparent that the collection is to ring in the Stephen Sprouse retrospective exhibition, which is to be held at the Deitch Gallery.
